Finn Forster is a folk-influenced indie singer-songwriter from Middlesbrough, raised in a musical family - his mother and relatives play in The Shea Family Band - and surrounded by Irish folk from childhood, knowing folk covers before he knew anything else. He signed to the Newcastle label Interval Records and has had national radio support from BBC Radio 2 and Radio X plus playlisting across Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon Music, Deezer, SoundCloud and VEVO. He has supported Stereophonics on both their European and UK stadium tours, played the BBC Introducing stage at Reading and Leeds, and appeared at Kendal Calling, Latitude, YNOT and Truck. He is a PRS Foundation PPL Momentum Music Fund grantee, and his sound pairs smooth, authentically toned vocals with melodic indie pop over a heavy folk base.
