Music Kite helps artists, DJs, bands, venues, festivals and fans create, discover and share live entertainment information.
These terms explain the rules for using Music Kite. Users are responsible for the content they publish, the accuracy of event information, and any agreements they make outside the platform. Music Kite is not a ticketing processor, payment escrow service, employer, talent agency, booking guarantor, rideshare service or financial service.
If you do not agree to these terms, you should not use Music Kite.
1. Who operates Music Kite
Music Kite is operated by Tim Lord trading as Music Kite.

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
2. About Music Kite
Music Kite is a live entertainment discovery and presence platform.
Music Kite may allow users to:
- create accounts
- create or manage artist, DJ, band, venue, festival and fan profiles
- publish public profile information
- create events, gigs and listings
- appear in discovery pages
- create and use Live Hubs
- embed Music Kite content on external websites
- save or follow artists, venues, festivals and events
- use calendar-related features
- send and receive booking inquiries
- use messaging and notifications
- access opportunity discovery features
- use future mobile app or progressive web app features
Music Kite is currently in private beta and may move into public beta. Features may change, be added, be removed, be limited or be unavailable while the platform develops.
3. Acceptance of these terms
By using Music Kite, creating an account, publishing content, managing a profile, using a Live Hub, sending an inquiry or accessing Music Kite in any way, you agree to these terms.
If you use Music Kite on behalf of an artist, DJ, band, venue, festival, organisation or other person, you confirm that you have authority to do so.
4. Who can use Music Kite
Music Kite is intended for users aged 13 and over.
If you are under 18, you should only use Music Kite with appropriate permission from a parent or guardian, especially before creating an account, publishing content, sharing contact details, sending inquiries or interacting with other users.
Music Kite may limit, suspend or remove access where we believe a user does not meet age requirements or where use of the platform creates safety, privacy or legal concerns.
5. Accounts and access
Users may create accounts or be invited into Music Kite by an admin.
Account types may include:
- fan
- artist
- DJ
- band
- venue
- festival
- admin
- other related account types introduced later
At launch, users generally sign up as one profile type. Managing multiple profile types from one account is not currently supported, but this may change in the future.
You are responsible for:
- providing accurate account information
- keeping your login details secure
- using a strong password
- not sharing your account with unauthorised people
- notifying Music Kite if you believe your account has been compromised
- keeping your account email address up to date
Music Kite may refuse, suspend, limit or remove access where we reasonably believe an account is being misused, is inaccurate, is unsafe, breaches these terms or creates risk for Music Kite or other users.
6. Profile ownership and authority
Music Kite may allow artist, DJ, band, venue and festival profiles to be created by users or by Music Kite admin during onboarding.
Music Kite may create, prepare or polish profiles before the relevant owner or manager claims them.
Users who manage a profile must have the right and authority to do so.
Music Kite may ask for verification of ownership, authority or permission before allowing a user to manage, claim, transfer, publish or edit a profile.
Music Kite may refuse, delay, restrict or reverse profile access if there is a dispute, uncertainty or concern about ownership or authority.
7. Beta access
Music Kite is currently in beta.
During beta:
- features may change
- features may be limited or unavailable
- bugs may occur
- data structures may change
- dashboards may be updated
- some features may be experimental
- access may be invite-only, limited or manually approved
- Music Kite may suspend, restrict or remove beta access
Music Kite may move from private beta to public beta without every feature being final.
8. User content
Users may create, upload, submit, publish or link to content through Music Kite.
User content may include:
- profile text
- images
- logos
- cover images
- event listings
- gig listings
- external links
- Spotify links
- SoundCloud links
- YouTube links
- social links
- PDFs
- videos
- booking inquiry content
- messages
- other supported content
You are responsible for your content.
You must ensure that your content:
- is accurate where it makes factual claims
- is lawful
- does not infringe someone else's rights
- does not mislead users
- does not contain harmful code
- does not impersonate someone else
- does not falsely suggest endorsement, authority or affiliation
- does not breach these terms or Music Kite policies
9. Content licence
You keep your rights in the content you submit to Music Kite, subject to the licence described below.
By creating, uploading, submitting or publishing content on Music Kite, you grant Music Kite a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, display, reproduce, resize, crop, format, adapt, distribute, promote and make available that content as needed to operate, improve, promote and provide Music Kite.
This licence allows Music Kite to use your content in connection with:
- public profiles
- event and gig pages
- discovery pages
- Live Hubs
- embedded feeds
- social previews
- notifications
- emails
- search results
- future mobile apps
- future API or feed features
- marketing and promotional materials related to Music Kite
This licence is necessary because Music Kite publishes public content across different surfaces, including embeddable Live Hubs and third-party websites.
If you delete content or request removal, Music Kite will take reasonable steps to stop actively displaying it, but copies may remain where already shared, embedded, cached, indexed, backed up, required for security, required for legal reasons or technically difficult to remove immediately.
10. Public content
Music Kite includes public-facing features.
Public content may include:
- artist profiles
- DJ profiles
- band profiles
- venue profiles
- festival profiles
- event listings
- gig listings
- lineup information
- public images
- public social links
- public music links
- public ticket links
- Live Hub content
- discovery page content
Public content may appear on Music Kite, in search engines, in social media previews, in Live Hubs, in embedded feeds, on third-party websites and in future Music Kite apps or feeds.
Do not publish information that you do not want to be public.
11. Event and gig information
Users who publish event, gig, venue, festival or lineup information are responsible for keeping it accurate and up to date.
This includes responsibility for:
- dates
- times
- locations
- venues
- lineups
- ticket links
- age restrictions
- access information
- cancellation information
- recurring event information
- external links
- event descriptions
Music Kite may display event information in discovery pages, profiles, Live Hubs, feeds, social previews and future calendar features.
Fans and visitors should check directly with the relevant artist, venue, festival, organiser or ticket provider before travelling, buying tickets or making plans.
12. Tickets and external purchases
Music Kite does not sell tickets directly at this time.
Music Kite may link to external ticket providers, venue websites, festival websites, artist websites, social media pages or other services.
Music Kite is not responsible for:
- ticket availability
- ticket pricing
- refunds
- entry conditions
- age restrictions
- cancellation policies
- payment processing by third parties
- third-party terms
- third-party privacy practices
- third-party website content
- errors on external websites
Any purchase, booking or transaction made outside Music Kite is between the relevant parties and the external provider.
13. Booking inquiries, messages and opportunities
Music Kite may provide booking inquiry, messaging, notification and opportunity discovery features.
Booking inquiry forms may collect details such as:
- name
- email address
- phone number
- message
- event date
- budget
- location
- other inquiry details
Music Kite may pass or display inquiry information to the relevant profile manager or account holder.
Music Kite is not:
- a talent agency
- an employer
- a booking guarantor
- an event organiser
- a payment escrow service
- a financial service
- a party to agreements made outside the platform
Music Kite does not guarantee:
- that an inquiry will be answered
- that a booking will be accepted
- that a user is available
- that a user will perform or attend
- that payment will be made
- that an event will go ahead
- that a venue, artist, DJ, band or festival is suitable for a particular purpose
Users are responsible for checking details, agreeing terms, arranging contracts, handling payment, managing insurance and complying with applicable legal, venue, licensing and safety requirements.
Opportunity discovery features may allow venues or festivals to share private opportunities with relevant artists, such as open slots, short-notice availability requests or performance opportunities. These features are intended for relevant industry-side users and are not public fan-facing content unless Music Kite clearly states otherwise.
14. Fan accounts, saves and calendar features
Fans may create accounts and use Music Kite to discover, save and follow artists, venues, festivals and events.
Music Kite may provide calendar-related features such as:
- downloadable calendar files
- subscribe-to-calendar feeds
- Google Calendar integrations
- Apple Calendar support
- Outlook support
- future calendar sync features
Music Kite may later support writing saved events directly to a connected calendar account, but this is not live at the time these terms were last updated.
Calendar information may not update instantly in third-party calendar apps. Music Kite cannot control how often Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Outlook or other calendar services refresh external calendars or imported events.
15. Live Hubs and embeds
Live Hubs allow Music Kite content to be embedded on external websites, including artist, venue, festival and partner websites.
Users may only use Live Hubs and embed code in the way Music Kite provides or permits.
Users must not:
- hide required Music Kite branding unless permitted by a paid plan or approved arrangement
- remove "powered by Music Kite" wording from free Live Hubs
- modify embed code in a harmful or misleading way
- use Live Hubs to misrepresent content
- reverse-engineer Live Hub code
- overload, scrape or interfere with Music Kite systems
- use Live Hubs on unlawful, harmful or abusive websites
Free Live Hubs may include Music Kite branding. Paid users or manually approved users may be able to remove Music Kite branding.
Music Kite may suspend, disable, restrict or remove a Live Hub if it is abused, misleading, infringing, unsafe, technically harmful, unlawful or in breach of these terms.
Music Kite is not responsible for how third-party websites display, style, place or frame Live Hubs outside the Music Kite platform.
16. Payments and future paid features
Payments are not live on Music Kite at this time.
Music Kite may introduce paid plans, subscriptions, premium features, setup services, Live Hub upgrades, branding removal, additional Live Hubs, promotional features or other paid services in the future.
Music Kite may also manually charge launch partners offline for setup, onboarding, founder packages or related services.
If online payments are introduced later, Music Kite may use Stripe or another payment provider. Additional payment terms may apply at that time.
17. Marketing and communications
Music Kite may send service messages, including:
- account emails
- password reset emails
- invitation emails
- booking inquiry notifications
- system notifications
- beta updates
- security notices
- important service updates
Music Kite may also send marketing emails, newsletters or product updates where permitted.
Users can opt out of marketing emails separately from essential service emails.
18. Acceptable use
You must not use Music Kite to:
- break the law
- infringe copyright or other rights
- impersonate another person, artist, venue, festival or organisation
- publish false or misleading event information
- publish scam, spam or deceptive content
- harass, threaten or abuse others
- publish hateful, discriminatory or harmful content
- upload malware or harmful code
- scrape, overload or attack Music Kite systems
- attempt to access accounts, dashboards or admin areas without permission
- interfere with Live Hubs, embeds, APIs or feeds
- use Music Kite for unsafe transport or rideshare arrangements
- use Music Kite as a financial, ticketing, escrow or employment service
- misuse private messaging, inquiries or opportunity features
Music Kite may remove content or restrict accounts that breach these rules.
19. Moderation
Music Kite uses a mixed moderation approach.
Some content may be reviewed before publication. Other content may be reviewed after reports, admin checks, automated signals or platform activity.
Music Kite may remove, hide, edit, restrict, suspend or disable content, accounts, profiles, messages, inquiries, Live Hubs or other features where we believe they are:
- unlawful
- misleading
- inaccurate
- harmful
- unsafe
- abusive
- infringing
- spammy
- technically harmful
- inappropriate for Music Kite
- in breach of these terms
Music Kite may also make minor formatting, metadata, presentation, SEO, accessibility or safety adjustments to content.
20. Copyright complaints
If you believe content on Music Kite infringes your rights, email hello@musickite.comwith the subject line "Copyright notice".
Please include:
- your name and contact details
- a description of the copyrighted work
- the Music Kite URL or location of the content
- an explanation of your rights in the work
- why you believe the content is infringing
- a statement that your complaint is made in good faith
- any supporting evidence
Music Kite may remove or restrict access to content while reviewing a complaint.
Repeat infringers may have their account, profile or access suspended or removed.
21. Third-party services
Music Kite may link to or embed content from third-party services, including:
- Spotify
- SoundCloud
- YouTube
- TikTok
- ticketing providers
- venue websites
- festival websites
- Google Maps
- calendar providers
- other external websites and services
Music Kite is not responsible for third-party websites, services, content, availability, pricing, privacy practices, security, accuracy or safety.
Use of third-party services may be subject to their own terms and policies.
22. AI-assisted content
Music Kite does not currently provide user-facing AI features at launch.
Music Kite may use AI-assisted tools internally or manually to help prepare draft profile text, event descriptions, support content, marketing material or onboarding content.
Users remain responsible for reviewing and approving any AI-assisted content before it is published on their profile, event listing or Live Hub.
If Music Kite introduces user-facing AI features in the future, additional terms or policy updates may apply.
23. Availability and changes
Music Kite is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
Music Kite may change, suspend, restrict, replace or remove features at any time, especially during beta.
Music Kite does not guarantee that:
- the platform will always be available
- all features will remain available
- all content will be preserved forever
- all errors will be fixed immediately
- discovery results will produce any particular outcome
- Live Hubs will display perfectly on every external website
- calendar integrations will refresh instantly
- messages or inquiries will always be delivered instantly
24. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Music Kite will not be responsible for:
- indirect losses
- loss of profit
- loss of business
- loss of opportunity
- loss of goodwill
- loss caused by inaccurate user content
- loss caused by third-party websites
- loss caused by event cancellation or changes
- loss caused by external agreements between users
- loss caused by unauthorised account access where a user failed to keep login details secure
- loss caused by beta features changing or becoming unavailable
Music Kite is not responsible for agreements, payments, bookings, performances, attendance, transport, tickets, refunds, venue entry or safety arrangements made outside the platform.
25. Suspension and termination
Music Kite may suspend, restrict or terminate access to the platform, accounts, profiles, Live Hubs, messages or other features if we reasonably believe:
- these terms have been breached
- content is unlawful or harmful
- an account is being misused
- profile ownership or authority is disputed
- the platform is being abused
- there is a security risk
- there is a legal or safety concern
- beta access needs to be limited or removed

26. Privacy
Use of Music Kite is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
These explain how personal information, cookies, analytics and marketing technologies are handled.
27. Changes to these terms
Music Kite may update these terms as the platform develops.
If changes are significant, Music Kite may notify users by email, in-app notice or another appropriate method.
The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when these terms were last changed.
