La La is Lauren Andrew, a DJ and producer from Glasgow now based in London, who first encountered techno culture at fifteen and has spent close to a decade in the industry. She came up through Edinburgh's FLY Club and Glasgow's Sub Club, stepped out of Scotland in 2019 and has since toured Europe, Asia and Australia, playing Fabric London, Circoloco Ibiza, Lost Sundays in Sydney and Awakenings in Amsterdam as well as headlining her own parties in Glasgow, Edinburgh, London and Dublin. Her taste runs from peak-time techno to classic house, heard across her debut ten-track mixtape Give Yourself A Try, released in 2023 on her own imprint Brand New Records - founded to empower Scottish artists - with the sister label Sound As following for music from beyond Scotland. She holds a weekly Rinse FM show and has broadcast on Boiler Room, the Mixmag Lab and BBC Radio 1.
