Mr Bruce is Ian Bruce, a musician and painter who spent thirteen years as the frontman of the DJ and MC duo The Correspondents, formed in November 2007. The duo supported Lily Allen and Basement Jaxx and played WOMAD, Glastonbury and Secret Garden Party, before the death of his partner Tim 'Mr Chuckles' Cole in 2020 brought the project to an end. He relaunched as a solo artist working with producer Angus Kemp, and his debut album 'OK' - a record shaped by loss and grief - features contributions from Brian Eno, Homeboy Sandman, HAM, Olivia Douglass and Daisy JT Smith. He is booked through This Is Now Agency.
