Twin Skeletons are a female-led four-piece formed in Bath in 2022, describing what they do as skeleton rock - a metal-inspired, coming-of-age sound that blends moody, guitar-driven atmospheres with emotionally raw vocals and introspective lyrics, drawing on post-punk, dream pop and modern alt-rock. They existed first as a covers band called Decades, and took their present name from a song title they came across in their own playlist; drummer Joe Gorfin has said it became the whole theme of the music and the artwork. They have been played on BBC Radio 1 and featured on BBC Introducing's Sound of the Weekend, and released their debut EP DID YOU GET WHAT YOU WANTED? in March 2024.
