Wild Oyo were forged in the fog of West Cornwall, but their music travels continents and beyond. Built around Slow Dann on sax, vocals and percussion, Oscar BC on guitar, vocals and electronics, and Shelley on keys, vocals and percussion, they describe their sound as afrobeat, space funk and post-punk - afrobeat rhythms delivered with post-punk attack and an ear for a hook, torn up and pasted back together as one dancey beast. They have built a reputation for high-energy, off-kilter live shows, and are a fixture of the Cornish festival circuit including Great Estate Festival and Lafrowda Day in their home town.
