Xennex is Xen Watts, a Manchester-based DJ, producer and promoter who started mixing at fifteen using an app on his phone. He has played Egg and Fabric in London, Antwerp Mansion, Hidden and South in Manchester, Stealth in Nottingham, and Hifi and Wire in Leeds, and has supported Skream, SOPHIE, Royal T and Secondcity. He holds residencies at SHAPES, one of Nottingham's biggest student nights, at bars on Leeds' Greek Street, and with Beaverworks Leeds, Cirque Du Soul, Brat Party and Islington Mill. He is known for track selection and for building atmosphere and tension across genres and tempos.
